Cesc, "I wanted to shoot myself"

Cesc Fabregas’s dad has said that cesc felt like shooting himself after Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat to Barcelona. his dad said ,
“I talked to Cesc after the game and he told me he felt so powerless that he just wanted to shoot himself. He was looking forward to this match with much enthusiasm. It was such a special game for him because it was against Barcelona in the Nou Camp.”
“But it turned out to be one of the worst days of his life. His display was badly affected by his physical condition. From the first moment he realised he shouldn’t be playing. After 10 minutes he was feeling his leg. He wanted to contribute but was left behind while Barcelona had a great game.”

However Cesc himself said he’ll do anything in his power to play at the Nou Camp contrasts his dad’s statement about Cesc not playing.

Cesc, "As a Culé, I want Barcelona to win El Clasico"

Cesc Fabregas has lent his support to Barcelona his boyhood club as his favourite to win in tommorrow’s La Liga game between Real Madrid and Barcelona. During an exclusive Interview with Campeones del mundo, Cesc said, “As a culé, I want Barca to win. As a professional, El Clasico is seen as a sensational game in which the club maintains its incredible history, but Madrid are much improved compared to last season’s. I see them being more dangerous than in other years.”
He also gave an insight on what it meant to him to be a ordinary Barca fan saying, ” My family are Cules to the core, my grandfather Alex took me to Camp Nou when I was just one and half years old, I was raised in La Masia, in our house there was always a very special party for Barca-Real, and that’s why I say I want Barca to win. I do not want my wish to be misinterpreted but of course I want them to win and I think they will”
Cesc also spoke about the players involved. Cesc quoted Messi as “Game after game he does all this. He’s the best, among many other things.”
Ronaldo , “If you’re not careful, he kills you. He is a decisive player.” and best Buddie Pique , “Today he is one of the best in his position in the world, as seen in the World Cup and the club.”
As with all Spainish press they asked him about a move to Barcelona which the Arsenal Skipper replied, “Don’t start. Another question.”

Wenger, "I'm proud of Cesc"

Arsene Wenger last night praised his captain for the professional behaviour he displayed during the Barcelona transfer rumour, despite from the tedious calls from Barcelona players and the unfortunate drunk incident with the Barca shirt.
Wenger said, “Cesc has been very good, despite all of that story, his love for the club was never under threat,”
“You could understand he was torn between Barcelona and staying here, but he really deeply loves the club. His attitude has been completely spot-on.”
Wenger also added “I tried very hard to show him how much I want him to stay and of course you never completely know the outcome, but my resolution and determination was always very strong to keep him – and it was never a question of money.”

Cesc, " I'm a Barca fan AND Arsenal Captain"

cesc-fabregas-6706
Cesc Fabregas has finally opened up about the speculation on his future. Talking to DIR Emotions magazine Cesc said,
“Those players are my friends and have been for many years. They play stellar football and everything they have won they deserve 100%. [Carles] Puyol gives me confidence and has taken care of me like an older brother. Bojan inspires calm. [Sergio] Busquets is simple and authentic. Xavi is a maestro. [Andres] Iniesta has so much patience, especially given what has happened to him in terms of injuries. [Lionel] Messi is calm, shy, and very kind. [Victor] Valdes has a lot of personality.

However, I am Arsenal’s captain. I am a Gunner and that is where I have made myself as a player and matured as a person. He [Arsene Wenger] is a second father to me, the most important person in my life after my father. He has been very supportive of me and has treated my like a son. I am part of his family.

“He does not want me to leave. My last conversation with him in London was one of the most difficult moments I have had to live. I am left very touched.

“I want to continue fighting for every title, especially the Champions League, because I am a winner.”

What do you think? Lots of players play for different clubs other than the ones they support for example, John Terry and West Ham, Fernando Torres and Atletico Madrid, David Villa and Villarreal, David Beckham and Manchester United and Wayne Rooney And Everton.
In fact the ones i have listed have actually at some point played for those clubs, so it doesn’t necessary mean that he would definitely go back.
The problem i think is that he has too many footballer friends and not enough “normal” friends

Anyways over to you!.

Cesc "I'm praying to play in final"

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he’s desperate to play in tomorrow’s final against Netherlands. Despite being Arsenal’s number one midfielder, then Spanish coach has so far gone for his Barcelona’s rivals.
Cesc said, “I am desperate to play at least some part in tomorrow’s game. What player on the planet wouldn’t be? It’s everything we dream of from the moment we start kicking a ball to the moment we learn all about the world’s greatest football tournament.
“I can’t deny it has hurt not to be in Spain’s starting line-ups throughout this tournament. But I only have to look at our incredible players – and especially our midfielders – to realise I’m so honoured to be part of this magnificent Spanish side.”

He also commented on how important it would be to him to win the World Cup, “I’m so proud Spain is in the World Cup final, but it means nothing if we don’t win it,” he said.
“Of course I believe I can play a part in making history for our country, which has never won a World Cup before.
If I’m lucky enough to get a start, I will give everything I have. But if I have to start on the bench, then so be it. All I can pray for is that I get a chance to play some part of this unbelievable game.
If I’m not in the team, I will know deep down that Spain winning the World Cup is more important than Cesc Fabregas starting the game or not.
So I will still be 100 per cent behind the boys who do go out there. And I will be thinking about what I will do, what I must do if I come on.
To just be a part of a World Cup final would be beyond belief, the stuff of dreams. That’s why I just can’t wait for tomorrow.”

We wish Spain and the Netherlands the best of luck for tomorrow’s final

“I know to be in midfield is going to be difficult because we have a lot of good players but I will never give up.I’ve won a lot of caps but if I’ve not played three quarters of the game then it’s not so valuable to me.I still don’t think my best time for Spain has arrived and I still must carry on working to improve.”

Baracalona might not be able to afford Fabregas, after huge siginings.
Cesc still has 5 years left on his contract and 4 years until he can buy himself out of it.
