Arsenal 2-1 Hull

Arsenal beat Hull 2-1 in their latest Premier League fixture, bringing Arsenal level on points with Chelsea at the top of the table.

Arshavin scored Arsenal’s 100th goal of the season in the 14th minute. Hull was given a penalty just before the half hour mark, which resulted with Bullard levelling the scoreline. Shortly before half time, Boateng was sent off after getting a second yellow card for a high tackle on Sagna.
In the second half, despite being up against ten men Arsenal were unable to make any progress until the last few minutes of the match. Arshavin had a chance, but his shot went over the bar.Bendtner also had several chances, and was able to convert one of them in the second minute of stoppage time. Denilson’s long range shot was saved by Myhill, but went straight to the feet of Bendtner who went ahead to put Arsenal infront and gain the three point. Full match report here.
