Spain 2-1 Argentina + news + pics + gifs update

Spain beat Argentina by a goal in yesterday’s friendly game. Cesc came on as a sub. Spain dominated the game, going a goal ahead in the first 15 mintues, with Alonso scoring. Villa and Iniesta also had chances to increase the scoreline in the first half but they failed to do so. Argentina equalised through Messi’s penalty, after Rodriguez was brought down in the area.Spain had another chance to go ahead, but Ramos’s header, from a Fabregas free kick, went wide.Spain were given a penalty for handball which Alonso converted to win the game 2-1. Pique talked about cesc being at Barca:

“Cesc will end up wearing the Blaugrana shirt one day, I’ve always said that.I’m sure that the canterano class of ’87 will find themselves together. Cesc prefers to keep his opinion to himself.

I’d hate to see him at Real Madrid and I don’t think it will happen. In football, you can’t use the word impossible, but I don’t believe it will occur.”

Jose Antonio Reyes thinks otherwise:

“People talk about Cesc Fabregas as if his move back to Spain is imminent but I can’t see him leaving Arsenal now or in the foreseeable future.He is in his element and captains a side with vast potential.”
