Arsenal 3-1 Birmingham
17 October 2009
Another three points for Arsenal today.
Arsenal had several good chances, before Van Persie scored in the 16th minute.A minute after, Arsenal got their second goal with Diaby vollying the ball into the back of the net. Walcott was subbed off (knee injury) and replaced by Arshavin soon after. Arsenal were dominating play for much of the first half, but were left a bit unsettled when Birmingham’s Bowyer smashed the ball into the net. The second half started off with Birmingham having a good chance to level the scoreline.
Larsson was penalised for a backpass by the ref, which provided an opportunity for Arsenal to go ahead by two goals. However, Van Persie’s shot hit the crossbar.Arsenal continued dominating ffrom full time, play and were rewarded for their efforts when Arshavin scored Arsenal’s third goal of the afternoon in the 84th minute, with Cesc assisiting. The match wasn’t shown live here and I had to watch the Sunderland-Liverpool match to keep
myself updated on the scoreline. And the scheduled delayed programme wasn’t shown either
as Star Sports showed the Brazilian GP qualifying session instead. So I can’t comment much.
But am very2 happy with the win and even happier than Man Sh*tty only drew against Wigan.
So we’re in 4th now with one match in hand ;D
in the bigger pic at the top, you can see he’s wearing grey pants!
SIMPLEMENTE EL MEJOR……the cesc’s grandpa is very good…he is very strong
BRAVO . . . . .
WELL DONE GUNNERS !
Do you have any news about Cesc`s grandpa ?
Is he OK ?
Arsenal played a amzing yesterday without even going into third gear really! can’t wait for the london derby against the hammers, then liverpool and then those scum tottenham hahahaha whoooo you rock Arsenal!
another game that shows that we can grind out wins. and i think these sort of wins are gonna be really important when time comes!
but it was a great match, it kept me on the edge of my seat throught he entire thing! I think Song had a great match, he was everywhere!
i like that arsenal now can afford their forward players the mobility and fluidity of movement they like.
I think until we scored the third, we suffered a bit. Arshawin gives the Gunners a bit what
we missed last season. He is a killer…. Overall I think Song and Diaby had a good game. Three
points that is what counts.
