Cesc talks about Adebayor
Firstly, sorry about the fact that pictures are not being shown on the front page for the recent posts. I’m having difficulty putting the pictures up the new way. Hopefully this should be sorted out in a few days.
Now onto the news. Cesc spoke to the Sun and was none too happy with Adebayor’s attitude in the game versus manchester city. Cesc showed the reporter the scar left on his leg after Adebayor’s challenge(you can view the picture of the scar by clicking on the sun link) and said this:
“I think this is a red card here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was from Adebayor.”
“I was lucky my foot was in the air when it happened. You know this is football and it can happen. Well… it’s not football but it can happen.”
“All I tried to do when he was at Arsenal was to create opportunities for him to score. So I think I didn’t do too badly for him. I don’t know. It is a bit strange. We don’t think about him any more. He doesn’t play for Arsenal so we just have to concentrate on our game and our players.”
Cesc was then asked to comment about Adebayor’s post goal reaction, in which he ran all the way across the pitch to celebrate infront of Arsenal fans. Cesc said: “No, there’s never been another player who left and behaved like this.
“I have no idea why he did this. We always respected him, you know. It is difficult. He will have his own opinions. You have to ask him that. I don’t really know.”
In response to Adebayor’s claim that he was left isolated in the Arsenal dressing room, Cesc said:“Let’s just move forward. If this is true or not it just stays in the dressing room.”
In other news, the UK government have launched an anti-bullying dvd which has received Cesc’s backing. The dvd is aimed at tackling bullying against children with special needs and disabilties. In the dvd Cesc said:
“At Arsenal we believe bullying is unacceptable. That’s why we support this film and we hope the message is clear for young people. Disability should not be a barrier to achieving the things you want.”

how adebayor behaved was really immature. i mean he was respected and loved at arsenal, for him to turn around and do that was just plain disrespectful

What BS Ade is tring to pass off. How many times was it printed in the papers that Cesc organized parties, dinners and nights out for the whole team!? He even did the impossible by getting Bentner and Ade together just nights after that game they slapped each other. NO I think that Ade is just a rotten apple. Arsenal fans aren’t malicious , he’s behavior was getting more and more obnoxious leading up to and after his transfer.
Cesc in an anti-bullying video! He’s too cute!!! If he can’t get through to jerks, then their is no hope for them.

Some more news about Adebayor: Before the game (AFC vs City) nobody of adebayor’s old teammates shaked hands with him.. the reason for that was that he stole items of the arsenal players. At the end of the day he sayed that the items were for Afrika.. (He stole shoes and shirts)
