Cesc is a 50:50 for the Man united game

There is more optimism over Cesc’s chances to be fit enough to play against Manchester United this Saturday. Wenger said, “He had a training session today that was quite positive.He will have a definite test tomorrow where we will decide if we include him in the squad or not. Today I would say it is a real 50:50. Yesterday it I would say it was 60:40 against but he looked positive today.”

Cesc also commented on his injury and stated that he probably shouldn;t have played against Portsmouth. “I had a problem with my left thigh, groin and hamstring – it was all on my left leg.

“Perhaps I shouldn’t have played on Saturday, and should have rested it. But hopefully it’s nothing big.”

In other news, Cesc has been called up for the Spanish squad to play in their next two world qualifiers against Belgium (5th Sept) and Estonia (9th Sept).:)
