Cesc at "Campus Cesc" meet and greet!

Cesc was seen today at a gathering at the Arenys de Mar sports facility in Spain, where Cesc will be hosting a summer camp for kids. The camp is being called “Campus Cesc” and will take place this Saturday (4th July, 2009).
Cesc came to the event along with good pal Gerard Pique for a meet and greet with fans and was asked a number of questions about his future. One child asked why Cesc did not want to join Barcelona, to which he replied
“I would like to, but I have a contract with Arsenal and it is necessary to respect it.”

He later stated when asked about his future at Arsenal;
“I am the captain, and rest assured, I will continue at Arsenal,” Full article here.

Cesc has cut his hair once again and I must say it is looking much better. :)

    all these stories about cesc is silly , i dont trust the sun to be honest , if i heard that from any other tabloid then MAY BE i would mind it , but now i am cool ….
    here in the midlle east there is a channel that makes interview with arsene wenger everymonth , i couldnt catch these interviews before because of my study but the june one and i think i post some quotes of it previously in this web , i watched the july interview , arsene said briefly :
    - we have six weeks of preseason training , the 1 st couple of weeks is physical training , the next couple of weeks we focus on technical skills , and the last couple is special training for the games .

    - i am 100 % SURE CESC AND ADE WILL STAY for next season ….

    - about the clubs we r gonna face in the pre season , we increase the difficulty game after game , the 1 st team we face is the easiest and so on .

    - he was asked about the players he wants to buy , he said i always have 25 players in my club including 3 goalkeepers ( with a smile ) , we brought vermealn and he is very young and promising player .

    -he said that real madrid paid a lot of money to buy c.ronaldo and kaka who r 2 of the best 5 players in the world , real madrid has a good chance to win the cl next season

    -” do u think that the prescence of all these big players could harm real madrid ? ”
    he said may be , but it is so better to play with an expert and experienced player ,because he gives u the ball where u want , but lets not forget that the player who was brought with a big sum of money is gonna be always under pressure to perform well and he could suffer . it isnt bad to bring big players but now it is all about the management .

    -” do u approve all that sum of money to bring 2 players ? ”
    he said not really , but dont forget that the fans always demand more and more . the problem for real madrid now is that he wont be able to buy any player with a reasonable price , every club will ask for a close price to the one he paid for kaka for example ,

    -” why did u say no to train real madrid ? ”
    i built a young team in arsenal and my job isnt over yet .

    -”u lost a great chance to train great playeers and win the cl ? ”
    yes i did , bu i wanna get this chance here with arsenal , last season we reached the semifinal and we can do it again , real madrid will be different next season , but u have to knaow that things may go bad too , u have to make extra effort now ,and they may need a few months to adapt to each other .

    - ” it is said that ribery is on his way to real , what do u think of him ?”
    i like him , he is great with a great talent , he annoys the defencers all the time .

    the rest of the interview was about the confederation cup , if u want to know what arsene said , please tell me and i will post it later , because i cant make my comment any longer :D

    oh i saw the vdeo of cescy givin autographs to these girls…omg im sooo jealous of thm..lol!! n i really need tht pillow with cescys picture on it:( :D i was wondering what did he write in the autograph..hmmm!!lol!!

    Once again, I would like to say that Sun quotes an insider for the 40 million price tag- not an official/important person from the club. So seriously just ignore these stories. Only start worrying once the club says so.And get used to these stories about cesc. Now that Ronaldo has moved to Real madrid, the papers will be looking for stories on other players instead.And Cesc will be an obvious target, and most probably the stories about him will increase in the press.

    Emma- all the papers today got the story from the Sun who apparently got the story from an ‘insider.’ For all we know, the sun could be making this up. Or if indeed an insider did say this, then how do we know whether the insider is telling the truth? And how important is the insider. If the insider is someone like a cleaner or cook then I’d say not important enough to know anything about price tags of the players.
    Arsene Wenger definitely did not say that was the price tag.There have been no quotes from him what so ever.

    Arseneal are back in training today :) Cesc won’t be back until the end of the month though because he was at the Confederation’s Cup and so he has an extended holiday.You can view pics of the rest of the Arsenal team training here. And yay! Senderos is back with the squad. :)

    like they said, he’s our heartbeat….

    Today paper full of story about Cesc is for sale for 40 mill pound.it seemed Arsene Wenger says so…if they can meet that price then he is to go…..

    Its hard to ignore this type of story Plu….my heart is bleeding for Arsenal if that happen…n may be i will be moving with Cesc to his new club……

    please pray that he will stay at least few more years.

    In term of carrier he will be better stay with the gunners coz in Barca there is Xabi n ineasta plus messi n at Real there is Kaka n CR.

    Lulu- Ignore the tabloids. A lot of the stuff they write isn’t true. I read it in the sun too, but they quote an insider source. Not until I hear Arsene/an official spokeman say it will I believe the story. And even if it is true, then every club will have a prie that they will sell a player for. If the price is right, then Arsenal may well sell.

    Hey Yani. It depends on whether the picture is watermarked or not. Watermarked ones have a copyright attached to them which makes it illegal to post them elsewhere (although this doesn;t really stop people from doing so). However, if it isn’t watermarked then I guess it is ok to take them as there does not appear to be any copyright attached to it.

    i read news in goal.com and the sun that cesc could be sold, if the price is right.
    WTF!! last season they said that cesc is not for sale, why they’r changed their mind!! i would never want cesc to move,, we need him, he’s our heartbeart! nobody can’t replaced him!!
    i would hate arsenal’s board forever if they sell cesc!

    kate they won’t be able to play good, because they are not a ready team.

    They’ll need atleast 10-13 games to get use to each other.

    It is impossible to play on highest level into a few games, RM’s players have never played together (Kaka, Ronaldo, Albiola, Benzema…)

    Ribery will rulen his career in Real if he goes there, i like him best as a player, after Cesc.

    i was mad that pique made these statements too , but lets face it and once again , cesc going back to barcelona is just a matter of time , but he is here now so lets enjoy the moment :D
    i read today that wenger is a bit sure ade wil stay for next season , and he wanted to sign benzema but anyway he didnt think lyon will sell him this summer .
    benzema signed for real madrid O_o and frank ribery made it clear he wants to move too to real madrid O_o i have to say that real madrid r unbareable this summer …… :(
