Cesc eager to start for Spain
14 June 2009
As the Confederates Cup, taking place in South Africa draws even closer, Cesc Fabregas has stated that he hopes to make a huge impact for his country.
“Since I made my debut two and a half years ago, it has been very difficult to find a starting place. It is still tough, but I always give my all to achieve it.”
“I have felt great in training, and I hope to have a great game against New Zealand.” Here’s the link to the full article.
Cesc also commented on Spain first opposition – New Zealand. “We don’t know much [about New Zealand] to be honest because I think it’s not a league that we really follow, it’s a bit too far away from us, but we watched some tape today and we’ve heard a little bit from other players.”
“From now on, if we had any doubts, we now know they can score three goals against Italy, so they are a good side.” Here is the link to the article Cesc on New Zealand.
Spain kick off thier Confederates Cup campaign tonight (14 June) at 7.30 (UK time). Good luck to Cesc and the Spainish Team.
