Cesc's press conference

Here are some more quotes from Cesc’s press conference wich were not in the video that was posted yesterday.

“As a team, if we are strong, compact, don’t them play and put pressure on them I am sure we have a great chance of going through. We are capable of scoring two goals against Manchester United, because we have seen that in the past two or three seasons.”

“It is a new position for me and I am learning new aspects of my game which I never had before, like always being backwards to goal, I am not used to it and is a bit more difficult. But I am really learning a lot of stuff and that is positive for my future career.”

Cesc talks about how it is great that Robin is back, as he is a massive player.Then he talks about how Arsenal are strong when they play as a team, and that the most important thing is that the team is united .He says it would be amaing to reach the final of the Champions League and that for most of the players it would be the most important game of their careers.He then went on to say that Arsenal was very special to him:”it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me”. He talks about how the club and fans have treated him amazing.And that now it is up to him and the players to pay them back for their support. They then talked about the cost of the teams fielded last week (man united’s v Arsenal’s teams).Cesc said that just because a player costs more money it doesn’t mean they are better that someone who costs less.

In other news, Cesc shrugs off transfer rumours.

“How many times have I said this? My future belongs to Arsenal and I want to be at Arsenal. I see my future here.I do not have to tell anyone to be relaxed or more confident that I am staying.

“My name has been linked with other clubs for four years, and I am still here. That should tell you something.”
