Happy Birthday Cesc!
1 May 2009It is Cesc’s 22nd birthday today. We all here from cescfabregasfans.com wish him a very happy birthday and we hope he has a great day. No doubt he will be focusing on training and tomorrow’s match. Fingers crossed for a win tomorrow. 
Arsenal 3-0 Portsmouth
Cesc did not play in todays game, as well as a few other first team players who were rested for the upcoming champions league match on Tuesday.That meant a few of Arsenal’s youngsters got the chance to step in. Arsenal dominated the match, although Portsmouth did have a few good chances. Nevertheless it was a comfortable victory. Bendtner scored the first goal in the 13th minute.A penalty was then rewarded after the captain of the day, Arshavin, was fouled in the penalty area. Bendtner stepped forward to take the penalty, and managed to stick it in the back of the net. Vela then scored in the 56th minute.This win means that Arsenal have now gone 21 games unbeaten in the premier league. More importantly, they have definitely secured at least fourth place.Full match report here.

Cesc-the two charges of misconduct
Cesc has spoken out about the two charges of improper conduct against him.
‘I don’t really know what I have been charged with. If they
suspend me for that (spitting), my heart and mind will be relaxed because I have not done anything wrong.‘When I came on to the pitch another eight players were also on the pitch, so everyone should be suspended for that.’
I don’t know what the first charge was about either. The FA did not make it clear over exactly what he was being charged for. I’m surprised that they did not make it clearer to Cesc. Do players get a more detailed account of the charges against them? Or do they only receive the same statement that is issued to the public as well?

hi plu . i feel numb too since yesterday . i can hardly feel my legs or arms and i can barely use them . yesterday’s game was too painful to watch . poor gibbs made a mistake which i dont blame him for and then the 2nd goal and that was it . i dont blame them for giving up . that was too tough . i turned off the tv for about ten minutes after the 2nd goal and cried like i never did befor and still crying untill now . i dont blame them for the loss . i dont blame anyone for the loss not even our defence . it isnt like we played aweful or let them take control ( we did after the 2nd goal but we broken and depressed then ) we played moderate . that penalty was well deserved and rvp took it well . i think cesc cried too while going off the pitch , when i saw him looking like this i just wanted to kill myself
