Wenger: Cesc ready to play + fan art

Wenger spoke on French TV channel TF1 and this is what he had to say about Cesc’s return(source) :
“Cesc is ready to play again, but he needs three games to be back (at his best)”

On Arsenal.com, it says that Cesc is set to be available in the squad.Due to the number of players that are out because of injury or fatigue, I think it is likely that Cesc will be starting the match against Manchester City.

Cesc:Madrid contacted me

Cesc, in El Mundo, spoke about Real Madrid contacting him, but has stated that he has never said he will join another club.

“It’s true the president of Real Madrid called me personally and we spoke on the phone. But I never gave him my word that I was going to sign for Real Madrid. He asked about my progress and that was it.”

“I have not given him nor anyone else the expectation that I will join them. The same goes for anyone who represents me.

“I am a person of my work and I can assure you that I have never given any club reason to believe that I would leave Arsenal.

“Nobody can say that they have agreed with me that I become part of their project. That is clear.

“It is an incredible compliment that two of the most important clubs in the world are interested in you, but I am an Arsenal player and have a contract with them until 2014.”

Ramsey has spoken of Cesc in a interview. These are his words:

“Working with someone like Cesc Fabregas every day is a great help, he isthe best midfield player I have ever faced.”

Gazidis, Arsenal’s chief executive has said that he is confident that Cesc will stay at Arsenal.

I can’t marry the stories that I read with the reality, which is that Cesc is extremely happy at Arsenal and totally committed to the club, and that’s every message that (manager) Arsene Wenger or I have ever received from him or his representatives.

Ok. Update on injuries.

Cesc, ade and Walcott will be back for Man city. Nicky should hopefully be back too.
Van Persie (groin), Eduardo(groin) and Diaby(thigh) won’t.
Nasri (flu) and Vela (fatigue) may not play either.

And congrats to Arshavin for getting Arsenal player of the month award.

Hi Alice. There are many pictures in the photo gallery if you want to check them out. We are going to put more from the euros up, as well as more from the past few seasons at Arsenal. There are not many pictures of him that have come out lately, and so we haven’t really been able to update the latest photos section much. But as he is coming back from injury, there will hopefully be plenty of pictures on Saturday to put up

Real Madrid always talk with the players and never with the club.
However, the presidents always promise so many players and then they can’t take anyone. Is two years that they want to take KakÃ in Madrid but they don’t still buy him

The cheek of Real Madrid. Doesn’t that still count as tapping up? If they want to know his progress, then they can contact the club. There is no need to contact the player.

Lool, at the project comment. I swear every possible candidate for the Real Madrid presidency has promised Cesc as their number one signing for the past few seasons.No doubt we will be hearing more of that in the summer.
