Do what I say
15 December 2008Arsenal have made an ad called ‘Do what I say’ to draw attention to the club’s charity of the season, The Teenage Cancer Trust. Cesc Fabregas said, “This advert is a bit of fun for the players and we hope supporters enjoy it, but there is a very real message in it about helping teenagers. We hope to raise lots of money for this worthwhile cause.”
The Sun have a feature on the making of the Ad here. Cesc told The Sun, “It [making the advert] makes us all realise how lucky we are to be fit and well-paid footballers. It was great to put a smile of these youngsters’ faces when they came to meet us. It’s the least we could do.”
This Sunday’s home game against Liverpool will include a number of fundraising activities and the players and directors of the club will be donating a day’s wages. Cesc said, “I visited the Teenage Cancer Trust unit back in August so I know what this means to the charity and the teenagers it helps.
