Cesc Fabregas at Arsenal Training

Photos from this morning’s Arsenal training session at London Colney are now in the latest photos section

Sam has added a video of Cesc Fabregas match highlights and interviews from the 2007 – 2008 season below.

Also some additional quotes from the media interviews that Cesc did on Thursday have surfaced

Cesc on Theo Walcott

“Confidence is so important in football it’s unbelievable.

“He (Theo) is the same player, but with maybe 300 times more confidence and that makes a really big change.

“Football is nearly 80 percent in your mind. You can have the talent but if you don’t have the head you will go no where, but Theo has got both.

“With the confidence he has now got he could be nearly unstoppable. He makes his runs really well and as soon as he starts making the right decisions – when he can pass, when he can dribble – I think he will probably be one of the best players in the world in three years.”

Cesc on Euro 2008

“It was great… but to be honest, I don’t think about it anymore. It is forgotten now. It is a new season now and I am focussing on that. When I join up with Spain and see my team-mates faces there are some things I remember more then but I don’t think about it otherwise.”

    Team to start against Porto

Almunia, Sagna, Fabregas, Toure, Nasri, Gallas, Van Persie, Walcott, Denilson, Clichy, Adebayor.

So apart from Eboue who makes way for Nasri, Arsene has elected to keep the faith and give the players a chance to prove their critics wrong.

So go to it boys and show the nay-sayers you’ve got what it takes!!

    Go Gunners!!

    PS Thanks Shizo :)

hahaha I love how hard you are trying to like his hair m *hugs*

mj hon they don’t look at all tense to me. They look like they are joking even, in one pic they look like they are smiling :) Thanks for putting them all up!

It’s going to be interesting to see who starts tomorrow. Arsene said he would be rotating some players.

I read an article that said “corners are to Arsenal what kryptonite is to Superman” it would be really really funny if it wasn’t so damn true. Seriously, why do we suck so badly at corners?

Let’s make tomorrow “FAIL TO SUCK AT CORNERS DAY” Puhleeese!

Don’t worry mj you are as you said over-thinking. I wouldn’t read too much into it, who knows what they are talking about :)

  12. mj says:

Hmmm his hair is growing on me! Well it’s growing on him of course lol but I mean I’m starting to like it more. Even with the hair band… well ok… still not really down with the hairband… but… well… he looks nice in red!

Anyhoo, guys look at the photos of him and Gallas and give me your take on the body language. I’m an over-thinker I know but it seems a little tense to me?
