Cesc Injured

12 August 2008

Cesc Fabregas out injured Bummer. Arsenal have confirmed that Cesc has injured a hamstring in training. He is expected to miss the first two weeks of the season and is ruled out of the first leg of the Champions League qualifier against FC Twente.

Arsene Wenger said that Cesc will hopefully be fit for the August 27th Champions League return leg, at home to FC Twente. Get well soon Cesc!

Unfortunately Arsenal’s injury list is quite long at the moment but I’m still sure the team will do the business tomorrow night. Go Arsenal!

Arsenal support anti-knives campaign

Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and William Gallas have lent their support to The Mirror newspaper’s Stop Knives, Save Lives campaign. Ben Kinsella, an Arsenal fan, was fatally stabbed less than a mile away from the club’s ground after a night out on June 29. This has prompted the campaign and the club is keen to do all it can to support it. More in The Mirror.
